This list must be started with Gianluigi Buffon, Italian goalkeeper legend whose current years don’t stop him to guard Juventus’ goal, and he does it brilliantly. There are some other great goalkeepers in Serie A, like Semir Handanovic, Jose Reina, and Diego Lopez, and it is surely not easy for the attackers to score goals when these guys are standing on their way.
As the Captain of the British Premier League’s Liverpool team, as well as the English National Team, Steven Gerrard has spent most of his career playing as a midfielder.
