UEFA competitions have been won by three Scottish clubs. There are three divisions in Scottish Football League (SFL) that is first, second and third divisions respectively. The highest SFL division is first division which contains ten clubs. In which SFL promoted top club and the bottom is relegated due to which second last club switch to an end of play-off season with the clubs of second, third and fourth place from the second division. The SFL’s second division includes ten clubs each year. Its top club is encouraged to the first division and the second, third and fourth placed clubs switch to a play-off with the club of 9th place in the first division. The lowest division of SFL is third one which also contains ten clubs each year. The top club of this division promoted to second division with no relegation of club from the third division.
