Clinton Drew Dempsey, well known as “Deuce” (born March 9, 1983), is an American footballer and plays for the English Premier League club “Fulham” as a midfielder in the number 23 T-shirt. He could be used as both Winger and Forward because of the skill he possesses over the ball. He is a great player with great skills and always looks active in the field. Dempsey is currently one of the regular contestants of Fulham football club as well as for the national team (United States). He played an important part in winning many memorable moments for Fulham football club and the United States.
Clint Dimpsey was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, United States and started his career from “Dallas Texans football club.” Later he joined “Furman Paladins football club” from 2001-2003 before joining “New England Revolution” in 2004.
In December 2006, “Fulham football club” paid £4 million transfer fee for the devastating midfielder Dempsey, the largest amount ever paid for an MLS player.
He finished the 2008-09 season remarkably leading the United States to the final of the Confederation Cup, showing his talent on the international stage with three goals in five games. Dempsey scored his first goal for Fulham football club on May 5th, 2006 against Liverpool, coming off of the bench on the 54th minute as a substitute to score the only goal of the match and give Fulham a 1-0 vicotry.
Dempsey has scored a total of 74 goals in his 276 appearances for both the club and the national team. Dempsey has already scored 34 goals throughout in his career for Fulham and still looking dangerous in coming days. He is on 10 goals for the current 2010-2011 season, the most successful season for him in terms of goals.
