Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain is an Argentinean professional footballer, born on Dec 10, 1987, in Brest, France. He plays for the Real Madrid football club and the Argentine national football team as a striker.
Gonzalo Higuain started his professional football career from River Plate football club in 2004. He played his debut match against Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata on May 29, 2005. During his stay at River Plate from 2004-06, he scored 13 goals in 35 matches. Higuain proved himself as one of the best players in the world. His style, great skills, enthusiasm, determination and great scoring ability caught the eye of world when he was signed for Real Madrid football club in 2006.
Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid signed Higuain at the age of 19 for €13 million.
