Performance record of CA Osasuna football club

Spanish football club Osasuna

Osasuna football club is regarded more often as the mid-table La Liga league team. The club has played successfully 33 seasons in La Liga, 33 seasons in Second Division, 13 seasons in Third Division and one season in Categorias Regionales.

Osasuna football club hasn’t won any major title but still they have many golden moments in the history of club’s football which impressed all of us.  Osauna football club has participated in 4 UEFA Cup competitions and once finshed as Runners-up in 2004-05 season of Spanish Cup.

CA Osasuna achieved the first status of playing in the UEFA Cup in 1985-86 season, losing to KSV Waregem football club in second round on aggregate 3-2 score.

In 1991-92 season, Osasuna showed a great performance in the UEFA Cup and reached the round of 16 (knock-out round) where they unfortunately lose to AFC Ajax football club on aggregate 2-0 score.

Again in 1995-96 season, Osasuna qualified for the UEFA Cup but unfortunately couldn’t make through to round 2 and lose 3-1 on aggregate to Stade Rennais football club.

2006-07 season was regarded as best one for CA Osasuna, as they reached the semi-finals of UEFA Cup but unfortunately could not make it happen either this time to lift the first trophy ever and lose to Sevilla FC on aggregate 2-1 score.
