Sevilla football clubSevilla Football Club was established on October 14, 1905 and played its first official match in 1908. The Club is well known as the “Rojiblancos” which means The Red and White “Sevillistas” means The Sevillians and the “Nervionenses” which means the neighborhood of Nervion where it is licated. The stadium “Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán” with the capacity of 45,500 people was built in 1958, named on the former club president who led the Rojiblancos for over twenty years and was instrumental in the project to create the stadium. The club’s logo represents the white and red color with an old-style football in the center, three letters SFC on the right and three patron saints of Seville on the left- San Isidro, San Leandro and San Fernando. Sevilla enjoyed much of their success in the early years of 21st century with 2 UEFA Cups, 1 Copa del Rey, 1 Spanish Super Cup and 1 European Super Cup.
