Scottish Dundee United football club

Based in the city of Dundee, Scotland, Dundee United football club is one of the most famous Scottish football clubs that was formed in 1909. Initially known as Dundee Hibernian the club is normally known as ‘The Terrors’ amongst it’s fans.

The club plays in the Scottish Premier League (SPL) and play their home games at the Tannadice Park which has a capacity just over 14,000. The home kit is an exciting mixture of tangerine and black whereas the away kits are a refreshing mixture of black and white. Dundee United football club got a financial scare earlier in their years of formation but a group of local business men came to their rescue in 1923.

Dundee United’s most successful era came under the courageous leadership of their manager Jim Mclaren who took over the club in 1971 and helped them achieve many an accolades. The club is known for it’s aggressive style of football and have produced a number of great strikers who have eventually played for other big named European clubs.

Dundee FC has won a number of tournaments on the national level and have aspirations to make it big on the international level as well. They have a great youth system in place to ensure that the future of the club is bright and the number of trophies multiply to the delight of their fans.

    Dundee United FC and Dundee Football Club are two different teams. Their grounds share the same street. Dont get them mixed up!!
