Societa Sportiva Lazio football club is a professional football club based in Rome and competes in the domestic Italian league (Serie A). The club was established in 1900 and has since then dominated Italian football by spending most of it’s history in the top tier of the Serie A. Lazio fc has also done well in European competitions and has a fairly decorated trophy cabinet. The club has a strong and able squad which has helped the club reach new heights. S.S. Lazio football club is also famously known by the nickname of ‘LE AQUILE (the eagles)’ and play their home matches at the ‘STADIO OLIMPICO’ in Rome which has a capacity to accommodate over 72,000 fans.

The current owner and president of the club is Italian entrepreneur Claudio Lotito, Edoardo Reja is the current head coach of S.S. Lazio fc and has turned the club’s fortunes since arriving in 2010, helping them out of the relegation zone and is currently guiding them towards a top four finsh by the end of the season. The club’s crest features a golden eagle above a white shield with a blue border; the club’s name is written inside the shield and another small shield is present consisting of the colours of the club.
