Real Racing club de Santander is a Spanish international league football club located in the Satander, Spain. The club was established in 1913. Real Racing Santander football club is a La Liga (1st division) league team and plays home games at “El Sardinero” stadium, having capacity of 22,500 people.

Racing Santender football club, well known as the “Los Verdiblancos” (Green and White) and “Los Montaneses” (Highlanders), plays home games in the white and green combination jersey with Black shorts, and use black, red and blue combination jersey with Black shorts for away games.

Racing Santander football club played its first match on Feb 23, 1913. The club officially founded on june 14, as Santander Racing Club, appearing in the first tournament, Luis Redonet Trophy. In later years they merged to Santaner Football Club. The club made their first appearance in the La Liga (Top Spanish Division) in 1929. Since then they are regarded as one of the best teams in the Spanish football history. They mostly played in the La liga and second division, but also four times participated in the third division in 1940s and 1960s.

Racing Santanders has successfully played 43 seasons in La Liga, 32 seasons in Second Division, 1 Season in Second Division B and 4 seasons in Third Division. The current 2010-11 season is Racing Santanders consecutive 9th season in the La Liga, the best ever run from the club since 1929 when they remained in the top league for 9 consecutive years.

In 2007–08 La Liga season, under Marcelino García Toral, Racing Santanders finished in sixth position, and qualified to the UEFA Cup for the first time ever and reached the semifinals of the Copa del Rey twice in same dacade.

On Jan 22, 2011, the club was purchased by the Indian business tycoon Ahsan Ali Syed, founder and chairman of Western Gulf Advisory, an investment company, and hired a new management team, firing coach Miguel Ángel Portugal and hired a new manger, coach Marcelino.

Levante UD is one of the best clubs in Valencia. Levante has a long history with many great moments. The club possesses the potential to beat any side at tough times. Levante won its first title in 1928 (Campeonato de Valencia), the Valencian Championship.

In 1935, Levante football club won the Campeonato Levante-Sur, a competition that featured teams from Valencia, Murcia and Andalusia, and amazingly reached the semi-finals of the Spanish Cup, consecutively beating “Valencia football club” and “FC Barcelona football club”, before losing to “CE Sabadell football club” in the semis. On July 18, 1937, Levante football club claimed their first “Copa de la España Libre” trophy after defeating their city rivals Valencia by 1–0 at the Montjuïc.

Levante UD has qualified to the La Liga after two consecutive years at Second Division. But they are struggling at the 17th position in the current 2010-11 season. Levante’s coach, Luis Garcia, is under deep pressure, as he is trying his best to come back in the competition with much-needed wins.

Getafe football club appointed new manager, Quique Sanchez Flores, for their first season in the Top Division, but hardly saved to be relegated to the Second Division. The club started the 2004-05 season poorly, but made a good recovery at the end and finished 13th on the table. At the end of the season Getafe football club lost his coach Flores and several good players to rival clubs.

Getafe FC started 2006-07 season with topping the table, but once again finished 9th. In the same year Getafe C.F. reach the final of Copa del Rey for the first time in history. The club progressed well in this year and qualified for the UEFA Cup competition and UEFA Champions League.

During that time, Coach Bernd Schuster left the club and joined Real Madrid. Getafe appointed new manager Michael Laudrup on his replacement. Under new mangement Getafe again finished the league mid-table. In UEFA Cup they advanced to the quarter-finals by topping the group G and losing only one match. Getafe also had a great run in the Copa del Rey, reaching the finals for two consecutive years.
