1. Manchester City 3-2 QPR (2012)
All Manchester City had to do was beat QPR. QPR were only two points above relegation that year. Manchester City entered with 2-1 down in the five minutes added time but it was Edin Dzeko who levelled with a goal at 92nd minute. Mario Balotelli assisted Sergio Aguero three minutes later. This made City champions at the very death.
2. Arsenal 3-2 Manchester United, 1997
Gunners started this season really well and had faced only one defeat in their first 13 matches. In this match, Arsenal were ahead with the help of a goal from 18 year old Nicolas Anelka. Before halftime, this lead was doubled by Patrick Vieira. But United fought back in typical manner and Teddy Sheringham scored a goal to level the scored before half time. It was then David Platt’s late header that helped Arsenal win the match.
3. Liverpool 4-3 Newcastle 1996
It was a frantic match. In the first half, Liverpool had an early lead as Robbie Fowler scored the goal. But Les Ferdinand and David Ginola struck back for Newcastle. In the second half, Fowler scored second and put Liverpool back level but within next two minutes, Faustino Asprilla scored for Newcastle. It was just 20 minutes before the end of the match where Stanley Victor scored and equalizer from where both the teams went hell for winning the game. Liverpool turned out victorious.
4. Tottenham 3-5 Man United 2001
It was nothing but an enormous fight back from Manchester United in this match. By half time, Spurs were leading 3-0 thanks to the goals from Dean Richards, Christian Ziege and Les Ferdinand. But it was the magic of Sir Alex Ferguson that helped United return to the pitch like a wounded animal in second half. Goals from Andy Cole, Laurent Blanch, Juan Sebastien Veron, Laurent Blanc and David Beckham transformed the game.
5. Newcastle 5-0 Manchester United 1996
This was the most glorious win for Newcastle and probably a nightmare for United fans. Darren Peacock scored the first goal with splendid header. After him, David Ginola, Alan Shearer, Les Ferdinand and Philippe Albert sealed the deal for Newcastle.
