Who can Meddle in Juventus’ Plans to Win the Serie A 2015/16 Title?
Italian football league used to be arguably the finest football league in Europe, and Serie A is on a good way to get back on that track in the last few years. Juventus is the team that dominates the league, they have won the last four titles, which took them to a total of 31 championships they have won, and they don’t intend to stop there.
Team from Turin is probably the best Italy has to offer. Although they were relegated to Serie B following the Calciopoli scandal, it didn’t take them long to return to Serie A and start winning titles again. They are led by Massimiliano Allegri from the bench and long-term captain and Italian football league legend Gianluigi Buffon on the pitch, and they will certainly mount a title challenge again. The only question is – can anyone stop them?
Two teams from Milan whose coaches know each other very well hope to spoil Juventus’ plans and take the championship. Roberto Mancini has bigger experience as a coach and his Inter side seems respectable, with Handanović guarding their goal and Icardi in charge of hitting the nets. AC Milan, on the other side, is led by Sinisa Mihajlovic, Mancini’s friend and a temperament coach without major experience. After failing with national team of Serbia, he has a hard task in front of himself. He might have the likes of Carlos Bacca, Ricardo Montolivo and Alessio Romagnoli at his disposal, but is that enough for the top?
Napoli also has to be taken seriously in the Italian football league. This team has made a great progress over the last few seasons and Maurizio Sarri’s team is more than capable of winning the title. They will need a little dose of luck for the injuries to go by them, and they have to balance between several competitions they play in, but should everything fit in, they could go all the way in Serie A. On the other hand, it doesn’t seem Roma is capable of doing the same, but Totti’s team, as well as city rivals Lazio, could be one of the pleasant surprises this season. It remains to be seen who will come out on top after 38 rounds.
